David Cameron is UK’s new prime minister!

Conservative leader David Cameron is the new UK prime minister after the resignation of Gordon Brown. He’ll be bringing the conservatives back into power after 13 years!

Mr Cameron, 43, has left Buckingham Palace after formally accepting the Queen’s request to form a government.

Brown’s final words:

I loved the job not for its prestige, its titles and its ceremony – which I do not love at all. No, I loved the job for its potential to make this country I love fairer.

Aww Gordie .. we’ll miss you! 😛
